Ahmanson Development
As a professional landscape designer and planner I have always considered California at the forefront of design and a model of environmental planning. The whole world looks to California to see what the future will bring.
The Ahmanson Ranch community, which the Ventura County Board of Supervisors recently, and wisely, voted to approve, is indeed the model for the future. Never before has there been a development approved, which in turn provided so much public open space. Because of the innovative design, future residents of the community will be able to live, work and play in their own community.
Supervisor Maria VanderKolk, like many who came before her, possesses the vision and foresight that made California what it is today. I hope people like her will remain active in shaping the future in Southern California.
