La Puente : Building Decision Delayed
A decision on a plan to build five single-family homes along Las Vecinas Drive at Lance Court was delayed Tuesday after questions arose about the city’s right of access to one of the streets.
In a 4-0 vote, the City Council agreed to postpone a decision on a tract map submitted by Jolene Frazier, the principal owner of the 1.71-acre site.
Frazier’s proposal calls for the city to yield its right of way along Lance Court, a short cul-de-sac that has been barricaded for more than a decade.
After a public hearing, the council postponed a vote so that the matter can be considered jointly with the easement issue along Lance Court.
No date was set for the joint public hearing.
