New Product to Provide High-Definition Drawings
Japan Digital Laboratory’s U.S. sales division, based in Camarillo, will launch a new plotter--a computer printer that reproduces architectural plans and other large graphics--in January.
The new product, called the 4000E, is designed to provide high-definition drawings in less than a minute, said spokeswoman Pat Sramek-Caminiti.
“It uses LED technology, but we feel it’s more economical and more reliable than comparable laser plotters,” she said. LED is a light-emitting semiconductor device.
Japan Digital has named a new U.S. marketing manager, David Cambra, to help introduce the 4000E in the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia. The company employs 30 in Camarillo.
