COSTA MESA : Soup Kitchen Offers Christmas Dinner
The Someone Cares Soup Kitchen will present a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings Christmas Eve from noon to 4 p.m. at the Rea Center, 661 Hamilton Ave.
Along with the roast beef and ham dinner, Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus are expected to make an appearance with gifts of toys and clothing. A children’s choir from Newport Beach will entertain.
More than 600 people are expected to attend the Christmas Eve festivities at the kitchen, which is run by local volunteers. A portion of the food for the event has been donated by the Cannery in Newport Beach.
