As designed, the elevated line will run on support columns in the median of the Ventura Freeway, with stations located 20 to 30 feet above the road. The plan is sometimes referred to as a monorail, conjuring the image of Disneyland’s futuristic system, but no decision has yet been made on what form of rail will be built. MAIN STORY, A1
