JEWISH QUARTERS: Orange County’s estimated 90,000 Jews are a diverse lot. Many honor their roots by joining Jewish clubs, such as those for Russians or Latin Americans. . . . The newest club is composed of Iranian Jews, who celebrated the coming Hannukkah season at a meeting Sunday. “This is our beginning, our birth. We will have a lot of good times ahead of us,” said Guity Soloman of Irvine, an organizer. The club will be called Paya, which means “something forever” in Farsi.
