San Fernando 83, Los Angeles 73--Tiger forward Javier Ramos scored 36 points--17 on free throws--to lead San Fernando to a win over host Los Angeles in a nonleague game.
San Fernando built a 27-point lead at the end of the second period with a 12-point run. The Romans never led in the game, but came back to close the gap to one point in the third period when Carlton Codd and Brandon Thomas teamed up to sink seven baskets in a row.
Junior guard Terryl Woolery led the Romans with 20 points.
Records: Los Angeles 2-1; San Fernando 4-1.
