WESTLAKE VILLAGE : Man Robs Bank, Escapes With Cash

An unidentified man robbed a Westlake Village bank Friday, escaping with an undisclosed amount of cash, Ventura County sheriff’s deputies reported.
The robber entered the Homefed Bank at 3825 Thousand Oaks Blvd. just after 3 p.m. and demanded money from a teller, deputies said. He motioned as if he was carrying a gun in his pocket but did not display a weapon, officials said.
He then fled from the bank without further incident, deputies said.
