Yields on 1-Year T-Bills Fall: The average discount rate on 52-week Treasury bills fell at auction to 3.57%, down from 3.61% at the last auction on Nov. 17. It was the lowest rate the bills averaged since hitting 3.12% on Oct. 15. The bills will carry a coupon interest rate of 3.72%, with each $10,000 in face value selling for $9,639.00. Sales totaled $14.77 billion out of bids of $35.14 billion.
