OUTLOOK
The Roadrunners will present plenty of problems with their quickness. With so much depth in the backcourt, Quinn plans to press and trap. “We’re hoping that the defense can promote some offense,” Quinn said. “We’re going to try to exploit our talent at the guard spots.” At times that might mean three or four guards on the court. “Both the Lete kids can dunk, so we can get away with them up front,” Quinn said. The Roadrunners also have good perimeter shooters. Holloway is a deadly three-point shooter, which could cause more matchup problems. “I can move Rob outside and make us a much bigger team,” Quinn said. “There’s really a lot of ways we can go.” The Roadrunners’ player of the future will be on the varsity this year. Dreyer is an exceptional talent, who will get experience immediately. Quinn hopes to work him into the starting lineup. “I told him that if all he does is rebound and hold down the middle on defense, anything else he does is a plus,” Quinn said. “But he may keep growing (as a player) every week. He has a couple of cousins who are nearly seven feet.”
