Glendale : New Social Security Office
The Social Security Administration office serving Glendale and communities in Northeast Los Angeles will open Monday in new offices.
The move to 710 S. Central Ave., Suite 320, will occur after the closing at 4 p.m. Friday of the current office at 235 S. Jackson St.
The office serves about 100 walk-in clients daily from Glendale, Atwater Village, Cypress Park, Eagle Rock, Glassell Park, Highland Park and Mt. Washington, officials said. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Officials said many services required by clients, including applications for benefits and office appointments, are available by calling (800) 772-1213 weekdays between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
