Danny Ginsburg’s soda customers can choose from about 200 kinds of bottled pop. What sells best?
* Big Red, a Texas red cream soda in a long neck.
* Hourglass-bottle Coca-Colas, the 8-ounce size.
* Kentucky Nips Sparkling Cherry Julep: “It sort of tastes like a carbonated Wild Cherry Life Saver,” Ginsburg says.
* Yoohoo (in chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and coconut).
* Mexican Coca-Cola: “They make it with cane sugar instead of corn syrup,” Ginsburg says, “and these real Coca-Cola freaks like it.”
* New York Egg Creams, regular and diet: “ ‘Whatever you do,’ I warn my customers, ‘don’t shake the bottle right before opening it.’ ”
* Mad River natural soda from Vermont.
* Reed’s Ginger Brew made on the East Coast: “But the inventor, Chris Reed,” says Ginsburg, “actually lives in Pacific Palisades.”
* Looza Belgium nectars.
* Italian Limonatas.
* Clear China Cola.
* Ginger Beer.
* Sahara Iced Tea.
* Italian Bibi Caffes--regular and decaf.
* Italian Bibi almond.
* Jolt, the cola with all the sugar and twice the caffeine.
* Tarkhun, the tarragon-flavored national drink of Armenia.
