Jurors in the second Iran-Contra trial of former CIA official Clair E. George ended their 10th day of deliberations without a full verdict and recessed until today. The jurors said earlier that they had reached agreement on some of the seven counts but were deadlocked on the rest. U.S. District Judge Royce C. Lamberth told them to keep trying for a decision on all counts. George, 62, is charged with making false statements to Congress and a grand jury.
