‘Life in the Age of Clinton’
I encourage our new President from the get-go to make our country totally independent of foreign oil not only for the sake of our environment but of our economy. George Bush and James Baker, both oil millionaires, did next to nothing. Now that these two are sinking into oblivion, a new President unencumbered by special ties to the sheiks hopefully will turn this sad situation around for three reasons:
1) Money doesn’t speak. It screams out loud. The billions of dollars in oil money allow the likes of Kadafi, Assad and Saddam Hussein to purchase the most terrible weapons of mass destruction.
2) Air pollution will be cut drastically.
3) Untold billions of U.S. dollars, which are shipped overseas, could be spent here.
