Werner Rathmayr of Austria jumped 108.5 and 106 meters on the the large hill (formerly called the 90-meter hill) and won the season’s first World Cup ski jumping event at Falun, Sweden, with 202.3 points.
Rathmayr finished 2.7 points ahead of Urban Franc of Slovenia.
None of the American jumpers qualified for the second round.
