BEIJING — Ants can help cure hepatitis-B and various rheumatoid diseases, China’s Xinhua news agency said Friday.
The Jinling Medical Ants Center in the east China city of Nanjing has treated more than 28,000 patients in the past few years using medicine made from ants, which are rich in zinc and trace elements, the agency said.
A survey of 339 patients showed that more than 20% of them were cured, some 43% improved, almost 34% had their symptoms eased and only 2% remained unchanged after the ant treatment, it said.
