BOYS’ BASKETBALL ROUNDUP : Brophy Prep Beats Loyola, 79-75

Senior Mike Feyder scored a game-high 38 points to lead Brophy Prep to a 79-75 victory over Loyola in Friday’s final game of the Loyola Classic.
Brophy Prep defeated Verbum Dei, 55-53, in the quarterfinals and Saint Anthony High, 54-48, in the semifinals. Loyola knocked off Culver City, 92-69, and Gonzaga Prep, 73-58, before losing to the Broncos in the championship game.
Feyder, who was named the tournament’s most valuable player, made four of six three-point attempts.
Junior Toby Bailey contributed 25 points and senior Marcus Kaufman added 16 in a losing effort for the Cubs.
