10th Loss to the Irish Seems to Be Last Straw for USC Football Fans
- Share via
Larry Smith’s career at USC has hit a new low after his performance in the last two minutes of the Notre Dame game. Instead of having the ball on the six-yard line with at least a minute left, Coach Smith’s time management in the last two minutes put USC on the doorstep with only 29 seconds on the clock.
With two timeouts left, what was Smith waiting for? Overtime? On the other hand, it saved him from his most difficult decision: to lose by one or go for the tie on the point after.
