Term Limitations for L.A. Officials
Now that Prop. 164 has become the law of the land and 14 other states have approved term limitations for their Congress and Senate, it is time to pass a term limitation law for the mayor, city councilmen and their political cronies, who have had the bull by the tail for many years with great wages, lucrative retirements and all those political deals that make them their big bucks.
All these perks would be gone. That would save the taxpayers millions and maybe we would get an affordable city government that would be more responsive to the citizens of Los Angeles.
