World IN BRIEF : CAMBODIA : Khmer Rouge Seize 6 U.N. Peacekeepers

Khmer Rouge guerrillas seized six U.N. peacekeepers in central Cambodia, a U.N. statement said. The six-man team of peacekeepers--three Britons, two Filipinos and one New Zealander--was taken prisoner in central Kompong Thom province, a spokesman for the U.N. Transitional Authority in Cambodia (UNTAC) said. In Siem Reap province, five peacekeepers were wounded, at least two of them seriously, when their vehicles hit anti-tank mines, he said.
