DIVISION I
* Bishop Amat (1): 28 LB Wilson: 7
The top-seeded Lancers (12-0) overcome a sluggish start to advance to the semifinals. Bishop Amat’s defense sacked Wilson quarterback Brady Dunn six times.
* Loyola (6): 39 Redlands: 8
Fernando Chavez, who had only 17 yards on four carries, scored three touchdowns in leading the Cubs (11-1) to a victory at Redlands (8-4).
* DIVISION II
* Los Alamitos (2): 48 Fountain Valley: 16
Quarterback Tim Carey passed for 213 yards and four touchdowns as the Griffins (12-0) scored the 35 consecutive points, extending their winning streak to 19 games.
* Crescenta Valley: 13 Hart (5): 7
Linebacker Victor Huezo intercepted two passes from Hart’s Davis Delmatoff as the Falcons (11-1) upset the Indians (11-1) at Glendale High.
* Esperanza (7): 23 Dominguez: 14
The Aztecs (11-1), aided by two interceptions in the final three minutes, scored three touchdowns during the second half to defeat host Compton Dominguez (9-3).
* Muir (3): 21 Servite (10): 14
Running back Saladin McCullough gained 189 yards in 28 carries and scored on runs of 91 and 15 yards to lead the Mustangs (11-1) at Pasadena City College.
* DIVISION III
* Bell Gardens (19): 23 Peninsula: 6
Running back Francisco Samano gained 102 yards in 13 carries to lead the Lancers (11-1) to a victory over Palos Verdes Peninsula (9-3) at Redondo High.
* Camarillo: 19 Baldwin Park (11): 0
Tailback Fahali Campbell rushed for 227 yards in 33 carries as the Scorpions (9-3) upset Baldwin Park (10-1-1) at Camarillo.
* Hawthorne (15): 18 Simi Valley: 14
Ronnie Morrissette threw a 26-yard touchdown pass to Marquise Jones with 40 seconds remaining to lift the Cougars (10-2) to a come-from-behind win at home.
* DIVISION IV
* Newport Harbor: 28 Rubidoux (17): 14
The Sailors (10-2), down by 14-0, rallied in the second half to upset top-seeded Rubidoux (11-1). Colin Morris rushed for two touchdowns for Newport Harbor.
*Corona del Mar: 13 Orange: 10
Matt Evans threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Chris Quinn with 42 seconds remaining to lift the the Sea Kings (8-3-1) to a victory at Orange Coast College.
* Irvine (12): 27 El Modena: 0
Quarterback Aron Garcia completed 19 of 31 passes for 225 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Vaqueros (11-1) to an easy win at El Modena (8-4).
* DIVISION V
* Indio: 40 Perris: 13
After turning away a possible go-ahead drive by Perris late in the first quarter, Indio (11-0) scored on five of its next six possessions to an easy win at Perris (6-6).
* Alta Loma: 14 Valley View: 7
Sean Lugo scored the winning touchdown on a seven-yard run early in the fourth quarter as the Braves (6-6) defeated the Eagles (10-2) at Chaffey College.
* Norco: 28 Colton: 14
Bolstered by the return to quarterback Steve Campbell, the Cougars (12-0) scored 22 points in the fourth quarter to rally over Colton (9-3) at home.
* DIVISION VI
* Valencia: 28 Charter Oak (18): 25
Chris Draft scored three touchdowns--two rushing and one receiving--to lift the Tigers (9-3) to an upset victory over top-seeded Charter Oak (11-1) at Placentia Valencia.
* Whittier: 34 Arroyo: 7
Steve Sethman rushed for 140 yards and scored three touchdowns as the Cardinals (11-1) defeated Arroyo (10-2) at Whittier California High.
* DIVISION VII
* Sunny Hills: 28 Kennedy: 7
Jacob Cuccia rushed for 102 yards in 17 carries and scored one touchdown as top-seeded Sunny Hills (10-1-1) defeated the Fighting Irish (8-3-1) at Western High.
* Garden Grove: 20 San Luis Obispo: 0
The Argonauts (6-6) upset San Luis Obispo (8-3) on the road as running back Jim Sedreros rushed for 214 yards in 27 carries for two touchdowns.
* Lompoc: 28 Los Amigos: 13
Jerome Hunt rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown and Jarrod DeGeorgia added two more scores as the Braves (9-3) rallied for a win at Garden Grove Bolsa Grande High.
* Rancho Alamitos (13): 20 Culver City: 6
Running back Jeff Byrd gained 224 yards and scored all three of his team’s touchdowns as the Vaqueros (10-2) won at Culver City (7-5).
* DIVISION IX
* Montclair Prep: 15 South Torrance: 0
Eliel Swinton rushed for 192 yards in 29 carries, raising his career total to 5,450, as the Mounties (11-0) shutout South Torrance (8-4) at Valley College.
* Nordhoff: 26 Paso Robles: 14
Nordhoff (11-1), led by quarterback Steve Saum, who passed for 101 yards and one touchdown, defeated the Bearcats (9-3) at Paso Robles.
* DIVISION X
* Brethren Chr.: 19 Village Chr.: 0
Brethren Christian (9-3) held the Crusaders (6-6) to two yards total and just two first downs in an easy victory Granada Hills Kennedy.
* Bishop: 40 LA Baptist: 7
Rick Solebee gained for 105 yards in 10 carries and scored three touchdowns in to lead Bishop (10-2) to an easy win over L.A. Baptist (6-6) at Monroe High.
