Woman, 86, Dies in Kitchen Fire

An 86-year-old Clairemont woman died Friday after her clothes caught fire while she was making breakfast.
Hannah Joseph suffered second and third degree burns over 95% of her body in the fire that started while she was standing by her kitchen stove. Fire officials were called to the house in the 1300 block of Harding Avenue at 7:25 a.m.
Joseph was taken to UCSD Medical Center where she died.
The fire also caused $1,000 in damages to the structure and contents of the house, fire officials said.
