Bell Gardens 13, Agoura 7 (OT)--Agoura had a 22-yard field-goal attempt blocked in overtime, allowing top-seeded Bell Gardens to escape at home.
The Chargers tied the score, 7-7, on a 26-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jason Warren to Josh Gunther with 4:16 to play.
Bell Gardens won the coin flip and elected to bring its defense onto the field to start the overtime. On fourth down, Agoura’s field-goal attempt by Cameron Knox was blocked by linebacker Arthur Zaniewski.
Agoura running back Scott Mitchell gained 103 yards in 25 carries. Warren completed nine of 16 passes for 143 yards. The Chargers outgained Bell Gardens, 275-140.
