Palisades 29, Reseda 17--The host Dolphins scored 29 unanswered points in the third quarter. Senior running back Ahmad Lewis’ five-yard touchdown run with 50 seconds left in the quarter gave the Dolphins (8-2) a 21-17 lead that they would not relinquish.
Reseda (4-7) took a 17-0 halftime lead on touchdown runs of three and six yards by DeWayne Johnson and a 30-yard field goal by Gerald Cohl. The Regents held Palisades to only four yards in the first half.
Lewis gave Palisades the lead when his score capped an 11-play, 61-yard drive that included a key pass-interference penalty against Reseda. Palisades’ Erwin DeLeon capped the scoring with a 24-yard interception return.
Palisades finished with 132 yards in total offense. Reseda’s Johnson rushed for 58 yards in 17 carries.
