On With the Play: In true “the show must go on” fashion, Peg Phillips, 74, of “Northern Exposure” carried on with the production of her original play in Seattle over the weekend, after falling and breaking three fingers. Phillips, who plays shopkeeper Ruth-Anne on the CBS series, slipped at a center for juvenile delinquents where she was staging an educational play she wrote with the help of inmates. The work depicts their hopes for life after their release.
