Republicans and Religious Right
Isn’t it interesting how the use of scare tactics influenced the outcome of the last two presidential elections?
In 1988 the Republicans won with the use of the Willie Horton scare and in 1992 the Democrats used the religious right as their bogyman. The only difference is that Willie Horton actually had committed murder and rape whereas the religious right only tended to bother the moral sensitivity of some people.
