Student Held for Placing Fake Bomb at Gore Speech

FT. COLLINS, Colo. — A high school senior has been charged with placing a fake bomb in a school gymnasium where Vice President-elect Al Gore was scheduled to give a speech Oct. 27. Lee J. Damschroder, 18, was charged Friday with delivering a false explosive at Rocky Mountain High School.
