Drug Dealer Has Rights?
In The Times of Nov. 4, Metro/Valley Section, “On the Record,” Anne Reiss Lane of the Police Commission is quoted as saying:
“I want a clarification as to whether this activity was approved by the Los Angeles Police Department and, if so, what they plan to do about it.
“Even disreputable people have rights in this society.”
Pray tell, what rights do they have? Drug dealers are the lowest form of human life and I seriously doubt if they have the basic right to life itself.
When the Police Commission has this attitude toward the criminal element, it is no wonder we have a crime problem.
