Among those joining the list of players filing for free agency were Detroit shortstop Alan Trammell and pitcher Bill Gullickson, Boston outfielder Herm Winningham, New York Yankee pitcher Curt Young and Oakland pitcher Goose Gossage.
Robin Yount says he will file before Sunday’s midnight EST deadline. Yount has a $3.2-million player option for 1993.
