PRINCESS FOR ALL: While students of Vietnamese descent make up more than 40% of the student population at Westminster’s La Quinta High School, some have been reluctant to get involved in after-school activities. But John Chaney, head of the school’s Booster Club, is delighted that’s beginning to change. . . . This year, for the first time, all four girls elected as homecoming princesses are Vietnamese. “It’s a positive sign,” Chaney says. “They won because a lot of kids who aren’t Vietnamese voted for them.”
