GRAND HAVEN, Mich. — A man was charged Monday in the fatal shooting of a high school athlete who may have been mistaken for a Halloween vandal.
Todd Michael Vriesenga, 25, was arraigned on murder and manslaughter charges in the Saturday night shooting of Adam Provencal, 17, a Grand Haven High School soccer and wrestling star who died Sunday.
