THANK YOU, NO: Anaheim Councilman Tom Daly has repeatedly criticized his opponent in the mayor’s race, incumbent Fred Hunter, for accepting campaign donations from city unions (B1) which must rely on the council to vote them pay raises. Daly was a bit surprised recently when the police union donated $500 to his political war chest. . . . “I thanked them, but I returned the check,” Daly says. “There are no hard feelings.”
