THE ENHANCER: Janet Baker, the new education director at the reopened Bowers Museum of Cultural Art in Santa Ana, has a dozen projects going, but with one goal, she says: “To enhance and expand on the exhibitions at the museum.” She’s planning school tours, trips to countries that will have exhibits here later, like Nepal, plus lectures and shows. . . . One example: an evening highlighting Chinese landscape painting, her own specialty. “We’re excited about trying to help people understand more about the objects we will exhibit,” she says.
