WESTMINSTER : Candidates’ Forum Slated for Wednesday
The Westminster Commission on Aging and the Westminster Senior Center will host a public forum for City Council candidates Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Community Services Building.
Twelve of the 14 candidates will attend: mayoral candidates Regina Hardin and incumbents Charles V. Smith and Joy L. Neugebauer; candidates for the two-year seat, Tony Lam, Jimmy Tong Nguyen, Margie Rice and Helena Rutkowski; and candidates for the four-year seat, incumbents Frank Fry and Lyn Gillespie, and Charmayne Bohman, Paul Perea and Wes Stiles.
Candidates Norman Lawson and Loretta Walker, who are running for the two-year seat, will not attend because of scheduling conflicts.
Representatives of the League of Women Voters will moderate the event. The Community Services Building is at 8200 Westminster Blvd.
