Euro-Business Workshop: World Trade Education Council, a Newport Beach-based nonprofit group, is organizing its first international business workshop next week for companies looking to enter the European markets.
The Nov. 5 workshop, entitled “Competing Profitably in Europe,” will be held at a conference room at Western Digital Corp. in Irvine. A fee of $75 will be charge for people interested in participating in the 5 1/2-hour workshop. The speakers, all international trade experts, in the nearly six-hour workshop will include Steve Arlinghaus, director of the Los Angeles district office of the U.S. Department of Commerce, Irene Fisher, director of the California Export Finance Office and Marilyn Loewy, president of the county’s World Trade Center Assn.
