I simply cannot understand your deference to President Bush. The right-hand side front-page article featured Bush’s remarks, once again, on the draft issue regarding Bill Clinton’s so-called evasion of serving in the Vietnam war (Oct. 4). Enough, already!
Inside you have an article in which three different people accuse President Bush of knowing full well about the trading of arms for U.S. captives. He has denied all knowledge despite being accused of being in on sessions pertaining to exchange of arms for hostages.
Surely, the Bush article merited front-page news. The Clinton one has been beaten to death and could have been relegated to the back page.
