Cheers for the Barb on Barbie’s Math Remark
Hooray for Sharon Schuster and the American Assn. of University Women for taking on Barbie and Mattel for what talking dolls say to little girls about math, “When Barbie Doll Customers Start Talking, Mattel Listens” (Oct 2).
What Barbie should be telling her friends is that taking eight or more college credits in math closes the wage gap between women and men with at least five years of college. Math isn’t too tough for anyone!
