Foothills : Library Hours Reduced
Because of revenue reductions caused by state budget cuts, the Los Angeles County Public Library has shortened hours at its La Canada Flintridge and La Crescenta branches, effective Monday.
New hours at the La Canada Flintridge branch will be Monday and Tuesday from 10 a.m to 8 p.m., Wednesday from noon to 8 p.m., and Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m to 5 p.m. The library will be closed Sunday.
The La Crescenta branch’s new hours will be Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m to 5 p.m. The library will be closed Monday, Thursday and Sunday.
According to county officials, hours have been reduced at all 92 library branches because of a $10.2-million budget cut.
