Bush on Clinton’s Trip to Moscow
Rep. Robert Dornan’s Column Right (Oct. 9) fulminations about Clinton’s Vietnam-era activities provide insight into why the Democrats are going to win the presidential election. The increasingly right-wing Republicans are so blinded by their extremism that they have indicted one group of Americans after another. Using their logic, millions of Tokyo Roses are living in our country today.
This loser issue reveals how far the Republicans have drifted from the mainstream. Americans are not interested in reliving Vietnam or the Cold War. Instead, they are aching for the future, which the Republicans have chosen to ignore.
