Booth’s 73 Wins Edgewood Classic

Kellee Booth of Cota de Caza shot her second consecutive one-over-par 73 Sunday to cruise to victory in the American Junior Golf Assn. Edgewood Tahoe Classic in Stateline, Nev.

Booth started the day tied for the lead with Jennifer Waterhouse of Sugar Land, Tex., but Booth led by three shots after the first nine holes Sunday. Waterhouse went on to shoot an 81 and Booth won by eight strokes.

Alicia Allison of Santa Ana and Eunice Choi of Dove Canyon were tied for third at 158.

Ben Garner of Lake Forest was fourth in the boys’ division with a two-day total of 149. Michael Walton of Palm Desert won the tournament with a 69-71-141.
