Oral Roberts Better; Condition Now Fair

NEWPORT BEACH — Evangelist Oral Roberts, who suffered a severe heart attack last week, was upgraded to fair condition on Sunday, a Hoag Hospital spokeswoman said.
Roberts, 74, has continued to improve since he became ill on Wednesday, his physician, Dr. Subbarao Myla, said in a news release.
Roberts, founder of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla., is recuperating at the hospital’s Heart Institute.
