Roosevelt 14, Jordan 10--Roosevelt quarterback Frank Madrid threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Juan Pimentel with seven minutes left to spur the Roughriders to a Southeastern Conference win.
Madrid completed 11 of 23 passes for 153 yards. Pimentel had six receptions for 84 yards and a touchdown.
Trailing 14-10, Jordan had the ball twice in the fourth quarter but had poor field position.
Jordan’s Oscar Coracero kicked a 32-yard field goal to open the scoring. Natalio Jasso intercepted a Madrid pass and ran 48 yards for a touchdown to give the Bulldogs a 10-0 lead in the first quarter.
