Garfield 9, Huntington Park 6--Jimmy Carapia kicked a 40-yard field goal with five seconds left to give Garfield a Southeastern Conference victory at Huntington Park.
Trailing 6-0, Garfield running back Armando Figueroa scored on a seven-yard run late in the fourth quarter. Carapia’s extra-point attempt was blocked.
