Oregon Firm to Retain Portland Staff: Advanced Data Concepts Inc., which is moving its corporate headquarters from Portland, Ore., to Santa Ana, said Tuesday that it will keep 400 employees at its Portland facilities. That will not alter its plans to hire 550 people in Orange County, however, spokeswoman Estelle Bollinger said. Advanced Data will hire 200 people at the Santa Ana office in the next year and the rest in 1994, Bollinger said. The company, which provides computer services and develops software, had said last week that it plans to lay off most of its Portland workers.
