UCLA Rallies to Win in Volleyball

The top-ranked UCLA women’s volleyball team kept its undefeated season alive with a 12-15, 6-15, 15-2, 15-6, 16-14 victory at second-ranked Stanford on Saturday night.
UCLA (11-0, 6-0 in the Pacific 10 Conference) was led by senior middle blocker Marissa Hatchett, who had 17 kills and six blocks. Hatchett hit .464.
Two-time NCAA most valuable player Natalie Williams, a senior outside hitter, had 16 kills and Elaine Youngs had 15 kills for the Bruins.
The Bruins rallied from an 11-8 deficit on five jump serves by Youngs.
Before Saturday night, UCLA and Stanford (9-1, 3-1 in the Pac-10) were the only undefeated teams remaining in the top 25 ranked teams.
