Finding the Funds: You’re an inventor. You have your patent. You’ve received some rave reviews. But you have little money to get the product on the store shelves, much less make it a household name.

That’s the topic of a seminar next month hosted by the ever-growing Inventors Forum, a 180-member, nonprofit group based in Irvine. Mike Rounds, an entrepreneurial marketing specialist from Rolling Hills Estates, will be the seminar’s featured speaker.
The event starts at 8 p.m. on Oct. 9 at Orange Coast College’s Science Lectures Halls Building. Tickets are $5 for members, $10 for non-members. For information, call (714) 253-9934.
