California’s Business Climate
Hughes Aircraft’s (Sept. 10) statement that the removal of 4,500 jobs to Tucson relates to workers’ compensation and labor rate problems is sickening corporate amorality. California educated their personnel, built roads to their plants, gave them shameful tax breaks and provided dedicated labor pools from their communities. What are they returning? Empty buildings and unemployed workers, of course. That’s the Republican family value system!
