Robert L. Myers, 68, president and general manager of KFMB radio and television in San Diego. He began his career as assistant to the president of Midwest Television Inc., the Champaign, Ill., owner of KFMB. He moved to San Diego in 1969 and was named president of the company’s western division in 1975. Myers, a graduate of the University of Illinois, was an original member of the board of directors of the Holiday Bowl and served on the boards of the California Broadcasters Assn., the CBS Television Affiliates Board, the Greater San Diego Chamber of Commerce and the Boy Scouts.
