New York Tripping

Regarding the July 26 letter from Lyle and Evelyn Davidson (requesting information on discount travel packages to New York City): I would like to suggest that they contact MiraCosta College, Community Services, at (619) 757- 2121, Ext. 769. MiraCosta College has campuses in Cardiff by the Sea, as well as in Oceanside. Last year, my mother and I went on a six-day trip to New York that was offered through the college and it included air fare, six nights at the Novotel on 52nd Street, a full-day guided tour of the city by bus, two day trips with local guides, breakfast at Tavern on the Green and tickets to “Miss Saigon,” “Will Rogers Follies” and “Lost in Yonkers,” as well as a performance at Lincoln Center of the New York Philharmonic. The price: about $1,500.
