SANTA CLARITA : City to Be Home for Theater Chain
- Share via
The Mann Theatre, a Los Angeles-based company that operates motion-picture theaters throughout Southern California, has decided to move its corporate headquarters to Santa Clarita, city officials announced Friday.
The corporation has already received approval by the city of Santa Clarita to build a two-story, 25,000-square-foot office building next to the firm’s 10-screen theater complex in Santa Clarita, officials said. One hundred people are expected to work in the building. The project is designed to accommodate a planned extension of Cinema Drive, where the theaters are.
Although no date for construction has been set, Lynn Harris, the city’s director of community development, said the company’s plans to relocate to Santa Clarita would be dictated by the economy.
